Dragon Fury Android Install Troubleshooting
Installing the Dragon Fury (VBLink) APK on Android is usually quick, but a handful of Android prompts and errors trip people up. None of them mean the app is broken — they're normal Android behavior. Here's every common one and exactly how to clear it.
"Install blocked" / "For your security, your phone is not allowed…"
This is the big one, and it's just a permission. Android blocks installs from outside Google Play until you allow the source:
- Open Settings → Apps → your browser (usually Chrome) → Install unknown apps.
- Turn on Allow from this source.
- Go back to your Downloads and tap the APK again.
It's a one-time toggle, not a fault with the file.
"App not installed"
Usually one of three things: an older copy is conflicting, storage is low, or the download didn't finish. Fixes:
- Uninstall any older Dragon Fury / VBLink version first, then install the new one.
- Free up some storage.
- Re-download the file in case the first download was incomplete — ask us for a fresh link.
"Parse error" / "problem parsing the package"
This almost always means the download was corrupted or incomplete, or the file is the wrong build for your device. Delete the downloaded file and re-download it from the current link we send. If it persists, message us — we'll confirm you've got the right build.
The download won't open / nothing happens when I tap it
- Open your browser's Downloads list and tap the file there, or your file manager's Downloads folder.
- Make sure the download actually completed (a stalled download won't open).
- Reopen the link in Chrome specifically if another browser is giving trouble.
After it installs but won't run
If the app installs but won't load or log in, that's a different set of fixes — see Dragon Fury not working for connection and login issues.
